Hannah McBee, a 2012 graduate of Old Dominion University, joins the Hood College coaching staff for the 2016 season.

During her first year on staff, she helped the Blazers' to a 37-goal improvement over the previous yea and a school-record 38 free position goals. 

Since graduation she has coached at both the high school and club level. From 2012-2014 McBee was an assistant coach for George Mason High School in Falls Church, Virginia and currently coaches for the Cardinal Girl's Lacrosse Club of Vienna, Virginia.

As a player, she was a senior captain and was awarded Second Team All-CAA for defense. McBee led the Monarchs on defense, starting in 44 career contests and leading the team in caused turnovers. She went to Urbana High School, where she played four years of varsity basketball and lacrosse.

McBee graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in International Politics and currently pursues an associate degree in paramedicine. She actively volunteers in Frederick as an EMT.
