Emma Elizondo from the women's volleyball team was named Hood College Athlete of the Week on November 4, 2019. Elizondo recorded her most digs in a single match against Alvernia when she hit 30. She recorded another 20 against Wilkes for 50 in one day when the Blazers competed in a non-conference tri-match. In their MAC finale, she recorded 11 digs against Stevenson.
