Hood College

Jordan Patterson of the baseball team and softball's Cailyn Barthlow are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 28, 2021. 

Patterson pitched a three-hit shutout in game one as the Blazers split a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth doubleheader with the Mustangs. Patterson tossed a seven-inning, complete game shutout. He struck out seven and walked one in game one. Patterson also scored the winning run in the fourth inning. As a hitter in game two, went 2-for-5.

Barthlow went 4-for-7 (.572) and slugged 1.000 with three doubles in the a doubleheader sweep of Albright. Barthlow registered three RBIs and scored four times. She walked once and was hit by a pitch for a .667 on-base percentage. The junior was error-free at shortstop.
