Chris Burgenson and Raphaella Henson-Vendrell of the cross country teams are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for October 7, 2019. 

Henson-Vendrell became the seventh-fastest runner in the history of the women’s program at Hood with a time of 24:21.3 on the 6,000-meter course. Her time was the 15th fastest time for a Blazer at 6,000 meters and she placed 36th at the invitational.
