YORK, Pa.--The Hood College field hockey team dropped a 7-0
decision to York College Monday afternoon. The Blazers fall to 1-10
overall while the Spartans even their record at 7-7.
Hood managed just one shot on goal against a stingy Spartan
defense, that by Brandy Noel in the first half. Rachel Alderfer
notched a hat trick for York, scoring three goals on six shots.
Blazer goalie Ashley Saylor stopped 16 shots in the losing cause as
Hood was outshot 37-1.
The field hockey team returns to action Saturday, Oct. 14, hosting
Rosemont College in a non-conference game at 1 p.m. at Thomas
Athletic Field.
