FREDERICKSBURG, Va.--The sixth-seeded Hood College women's
soccer team (7-11) lost to the third-seeded University of Mary
Washington Eagles (10-3-3) 3-0 Sunday in the quarterfinal round of
the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference tournament.
UMW's Kate Parvin had a hand in all three goals in the victory
for the Eagles, assisting on a pair of tallies and netting one of
her own midway through the first half. Christine Reardon and

who were held without a shot on goal in the contest.
