STEVENSON, Md.--The Hood College field hockey team (1-6, 0-2 CAC) lost 3-1 to the Stevenson University Mustangs (6-6, 2-2 CAC) Wednesday evening in a Capital Athletic Conference game.

Brandy Noel notched her team-leading third goal of the season with 31 seconds left in regulation off an assist from Crystal Parker. Parker also registered two defensive saves. Jen Lacy turned away three shots in the cage for the Blazers.

Hood returns to action Saturday hosting CAC rival Wesley College at 1 p.m. at Thomas Athletic Field.
