Box Score FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College volleyball team evened its
overall record at 3-3 on the season and remained a perfect 15-0
all-time versus the Trinity University (D.C.) Tigers (1-4) Monday
evening with a 25-9, 25-13, 25-11 victory at Gambrill
Gymnasium.
The Blazers have yet to drop a single set in 15 meetings with
their former rivals from the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference
and tonight's clash was no different. Hood posted 26 kills and 23
aces en route to the decisive triumph.

never looked back, clinching the frame 25-9. Hood once again bolted
to an early lead and never trailed in set number two. Holding a

out the frame and go up 2-0 in the match with a 25-12 win. Trinity
took control of set number three at the start, but Hood used an 8-1
run highlighted by three service aces to go up 8-4, forcing a
Trinity timeout. The Tigers got no closer than two the rest of the
way as first-year Morgan Huffer clinched the match with an ace to
give Hood its second home victory of 2010.

kills and four aces while senior Kristina Straub smacked seven
kills. Sophomore Ashley Beall collected seven aces and a pair of
