SALISBURY, Md.--The Hood College women's soccer team (1-6, 0-2 CAC) dropped a 2-0 Capital Athletic Conference decision to the Salisbury University Sea Gulls (5-3-2, 1-0 CAC) Saturday morning.

SU's Erin Mooney pocketed both Sea Gull tallies on the day, one in the 24th minute and another in the 85th minute. Colleen O'Connell was credited with assists on both scores.

Hood fired a pair of shots on target, one by Samantha Norris and the other by Amanda Hutzell. The Sea Gull goalkeeping tandem of Lauren West and Michelle Conrad combined for the shutout, Salisbury's fourth of the season.

Kirsten Cacciola rejected 12 Sea Gull attempts on the day, one away from matching her career-high.

Hood returns to the pitch Monday hosting Washington College at 4:30 p.m. in a nonconference contest.
