ARLINGTON, Va.--The Hood College volleyball team (6-17) lost to the Marymount University Saints (22-7) in three sets, 12-25, 12-25, 16-25, in a nonconference match Friday evening at Verizon Sports Arena.

Amy Hagerson posted four kills and a team-high 12 digs for the Blazers while Brittany Lethbridge and Kathryn Jones contributed three kills apiece. Allie Donoghue chipped in a pair of kills and Keesha Fields, Ashley Park-Brouse and Rebecca Rieser had one apiece. Alyssa Eshleman assisted on seven of Hood's 15 kills and served two aces while Kaitlyn Hays and Morgan Huffer each finished with three digs.

The Saints hit a collective .302 and posted six team blocks on the night. Jenn Forbes tallied a match-high 11 kills for Marymount while Michelle McCormick served five aces and tallied a match-high 18 digs in the win.

Hood wraps up the 2012 season with a pair of home matches next week. The Blazers host Messiah College Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Lebanon Valley College Thursday also at 7 p.m. Hood will also recognize seniors Alyssa Eshleman and Brittany Lethbridge prior to Thursday's match.
