ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.--The Hood College men's swim team (4-1, 2-1
MAC) won six individual events and both relays Wednesday evening in
a 118-76 dual meet victory over Middle Atlantic Conferences rival
Elizabethtown College (1-1, 1-1 MAC).
Hood's 400 medley relay team of Alex Bodine, Andrew Bodine,
Connor Eliff and Jon Collier started the meet off with a victory
over the Blue Jays by 1.24 seconds with a time of 3:54.92.
Michael Curry (10:42.78), Lucas Netter (11:34.97) and Nate
Leighton (12:21.77) took first, third and fourth, respectively, in
the 1000 free. Jonathan Bullard-Sisken (1:55.25) and Daniel Lee
(2:00.57) went 1-2 in the 200 free. Andrew Bodine bested the field
in the 50 free (22.81) and was second in the 100 breast (1:07.02)
by just 0.02 seconds. Alex Bodine touched the wall first in the 100
fly (55.56), Collier won the 100 free (52.92) and Curry captured
the 500 free (5:14.39).
The 400 free relay team of Bullard-Sisken, Lee, Netter and Eliff
clocked a time of 3:38.09 to collect 14 more points for the
Blazers.
The Blazers journey to Messiah College for a MAC quad meet with
the Falcons as well as Widener University and FDU-Florham Saturday
at 1 p.m.
