FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College volleyball team (5-6) lost to the Gettysburg College Bullets (10-6), 3-0, Tuesday evening in nonconference action at BB&T Arena.

The Bullets improved to 5-0 all-time versus Hood with a 25-12, 25-17, 25-9 victory, their 10th on the year. Hood's Brittany Lethbridge tallied team-highs of five kills and 10 digs while Alyssa Eshleman finished with a double-double of 11 assists and 10 digs. Amy Hagerdon and Keesha Fields recorded four kills apiece and Rebecca Rieser and Eshleman each chipped in a pair.

The Bullets registered 36 kills and only nine attack errors for a .329 hitting percentage on the night, in addition to collecting seven aces and six team blocks. Sarah Gorski hit .471 with a match-high nine kills while setter Lizzy Kuhn finished with 24 assists and 10 digs for Gettysburg.

Hood hits the road for its next two matches slated for Thursday at Mt. Aloysius College and Monday at Valley Forge Christian College.
