READING, Pa. - A late second half goal was the difference as the Hood College women's soccer team fell 1-0 to the Albright College Lions in Commonwealth Conference play.

The Blazers fell to 0-3 in the conference so far this year.

Megan O'Brien had the lone goal as she was in the right place to poke a deflected ball into the open net for the hosts. 

Hood could only muster one shot, and the only real threat was a cross that was cleared out on a corner kick. 

Leah Norris (Bryans Road, Md. / Lackey) made four saves on five shots, one of which was on a free kick opportunity for the Lions. 

Kellen Greenwell  (Great Mills, Md. / Great Mills) recorded the only shot for the Blazers, but the attempt in the 71st minute went wide. 

Hood will continue its four-game conference roadtrip when the women battle the Widener Pride on October 15.
