FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College honored senior Amy Hagerdon (Berryville, Va./Clarke County) before her final home match, but visiting Albright spoiled Senior Night with a 3-0 win over the Blazers.

The Lions won by scores of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-16.

Hagerdon came up one kill short of a double-double with nine kills and 11 digs. Her 10 points were also a team-high.

Kathryn Jones (Newfane, N.Y./Newfane) had 13 assists. Ashley Park-Brouse (Myersville, Md./Middletown) had five kills and served up a pair of aces. Keesha Fields (Willow Hill, Pa./Fannett-Metal) netted 13 digs.

Maddy Greth and Christa Mantz had eight kills apiece for Albright. Caitlin Klotzbach added 21 digs and Morgan Heath had 31 assists.

Hood hung tough in the first set and trailed just 16-15 after a service ace by Brenna Elizondo (Littleton, Colo./Heritage), but the Lions went on a 9-2 run to close out the set.

In the third set, an early kill by Hagerdon tied the score at 7-7, but Albright rattled off a 12-3 run to put the match away.

Hood is idle until traveling to Messiah on October 22.
