CHESTER, Pa. - Hood College fell in three sets to Widener in Commonwealth Conference women's volleyball action. 

Set scores were 25-12, 25-18 and 25-11.

Amy Hagerdon (Berryville, Va. / Clarke County) and Ashley Park-Brouse (Myersville, Md. / Middletown) tied the team lead with six kills apiece. Keesha Fields (Willow Hill, Pa. / Fannett-Metal) paced the Blazers with 10 digs. Brenna Elizondo (Littleton, Colo. / Heritage) dished out a match-high 19 assists. Allie Donoghue (Owings, Md. / Bishop McNamara) added a pair of blocks.

Brooke Ruditys led all palyers with nine kills. Veronica Vizzard had six blocks and Jessica Dembeck had four.

Hood looks to get back in the win column on Saturday, October 5 with a road trip to Muhlenberg for matches with the Mules and Washington (Md.).
