FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College dropped a 5-0 final to Stevenson in Commonwealth Conference action.

The Blazer defense did not break until the 40th minute when Allie Ondrejcak's shot bounced off the left post and in for a 1-0 lead. 

Hood had a chance to tie one minute later, but a header by Brittni Souder (Union Bridge, Md. / Walkersville) sailed high. Kylie Armstrong (Woodbury Heights, N.J. / Gateway Regional) uncorked a shot in the closing seconds of the half, but it was wide of the net as the Mustangs preserved their advantage into the intermission.

Alexis Andrukat (Smithburg, Md. / Smithburg), making just her second career start in goal, had seven of her 11 saves in the first half to help keep Hood in the game. The final tally of 11 stops marked the most for a Blazer this year and the most since Leah Norris (Bryans Road, Md. / Lackey) was credited with 17 saves at Stevenson on October 24 of last season.

The Mustangs scored four times in the second half to put the game out of reach. Alexis Siejack scored n the 48th minute, then assisted on another goal 11 minutes later. 

Hood wraps up the regular season on November 2 with an 11:30 a.m. match at Lycoming.
