Box Score

FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's soccer team dropped its Commonwealth Conference opener this afternoon, losing 4-0 to the Arcadia University Knights.

A Blazer own goal gave the Knights the 1-0 lead in the seventh minute, and Arcadia never looked back. A Lennon Kramer goal made the score 2-0 in the 31st minute, a lead that the Knights took into the half.

Goals in the 50th and 65th minutes closed out the scoring for the game.

Hood keeper Leah Norris made five saves in the effort, facing a total of 18 shots during the game.

The Blazers close out their four-game homestand on Monday October 7, as they look to bounce back against the Messiah College Falcons.
