FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College's Amy Hagerdon (Berryville, Va. / Clarke County) had match highs with 11 kills and 17 digs, but it was not enough as visiting Marymount (Va.) swept the Blazers in three sets.

Hood led in the first set, 24-23, but the Saints closed it out with a 4-1 run for the 27-25 victory. Marymount then claimed the next two sets 25-14 and 25-22 to seal the match.

Addie Roop (New Windsor, Md. / Francis Scott Key) added four kills and three aces. Allie Donoghue (Owings, Md. / Bishop McNamara) and Rebecca Rieser (Middletown, Md. / Middletown) had matching lines with four kills and two blocks. Keesha Fields (Willow Hill, Pa. / Fannett-Metal) chipped in with 11 digs.  Kathryn Jones (Newfane, N.Y. / Newfane) led the team with 17 assists.

For the Saints, Erin Allison and Emily Shultis both had nine kills.

Hood travels to McDaniel on September 26 for a 7 p.m. match.
