FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College dropped a three-set decision to visiting McDaniel at BB&T Arena, 25-22, 25-12, 25-15.

The Blazers came out hot and held a 20-14 lead in the first set after a kill by Hayley Rogers and a blocking error on the Green Terror. McDaniel rallied, however, and claimed the set 25-22.

Rogers, Addie Roop, and Amy Hagerdon each had seven points for Hood.  Roop and Hagerdon tied for the team-high with seven kills and also led the team in digs. Hagerdon notched a team-high 12, while Roop added 11.  Rogers had six kills and a block. Kathryn Jones dished out 18 assists. 

Kloe Martin had a match-high 14 kills and Colette Martin had 25 assists to lead the Green Terror.

Hood is back in action with a quad match at Shenandoah on September 7. The Blazers face the Hornets at 9 a.m., followed by matches Mt. Aloysius at 1 p.m. and Lancaster Bible at 3 p.m.
