HUNTINGDON, Pa - Juniata exploded for four second half goals to claim a 6-1 win over Hood in non-conference women's soccer action. 

The Eagles started the scoring in the 11th minute when Michaela Lacek fired a one touch shot into the upper right corner. Eight minutes later, Shayna King scored her first of two goals, this one off of a corner kick when she found the loose ball in the box. 

After two quick Eagle goals to start the second half, Blazer sophomore Jessie Herbert scored her first goal of the year in the 61st minute. She let a long range shot go that just found its way under the crossbar. 

Blazer sophomore keeper Leah Norris made 10 saves. 

The women's next game is at Thomas Athletic Field as the Blazers host Notre Dame (Md.) on September 10 at 4:30 p.m.
