GLENSIDE, Pa. - Hood College fell 2-0 in a Commonwealth Conference match at Arcadia.

The Knights scored in the 31st minute when Kristen Carrete took an assist from Jackie Glanfield.

The Blazers had two chances to tie the score in the second half, but a shot by Jessie Herbert (Sykesville, Md. / Century) hit the post and another by Jill Heymann (Hackettstown, N.J. / Warren Hills Regional) sailed wide.

Arcadia was able to put the match out of reach in the 71st minute off a goal from Kayla Haberbosch with an assist by Kim Canfield.

Alexis Andrukat (Smithsburg, Md. / Smithsburg) stopped nine shots for Hood.

The Blazers travel to Widener on October 18.
