FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College fell in three sets to visiting Lebanon Valley in Commonwealth Conference action. 

Set scores were 25-10, 25-6 and 25-11.

The Blazers hung with the Dutchmen in the early going, trailing just 8-5 in the first set before a 17-5 run closed out the set. LVC was on its game in the second set, hitting 11-of-16 with zero errors to take a 2-0 lead. In the third set, one of Allie Donoghue's (Owings, Md. / Bishop McNamara) two service aces pulled Hood within 9-6, but Lebanon Valley rallied to pull away for the victory.

Addie Roop (New Windsor, Md. / Francis Scott Key) led the Blazers with 12 digs. 

Greta Weidemoyer had 11 kills for the Dutchmen. She also had two blocks. Kacey Musselman dished out 29 assists and Emily Sides notched 14 digs. 

Hood hosts Stevenson and Lycoming for a tri-match on October 18.
