GRANTHAM, Pa. - Hood College fell in a Commonwealth Conference match to the top ranked team in Division III, Messiah, 8-0.

The Falcons did all of the scoring in the first half. Marissa Weaver finished with a hat trick, while Mackenzie Clapper added two goals an assist. Weaver's first goal, in the ninth minute, proved to be the game-winner.

Alexis Andrukat (Smithsburg, Md. / Smithsburg) and Leah Norris (Bryans Road, Md. / Lackey) split time in goal for Hood. Andrukat started and had two saves in 43 minutes. Norris stopped five shots in 47 minutes. Both keepers allowed four goals.

The Blazers host Lycoming on Homecoming and Senior Day on October 25 at 12:30 p.m.
