SCOUTING HOOD

The Blazers are 5-8 overall and 0-4 in the Commonwealth Conference.

Hood is led in scoring by sophomore Alexis Briscoe (Columbia, Md. / Long Reach) with 10 goals, two assists, and 22 points. Emily Richardson (Sykesville, Md. / Century) has four goals, an assist, and 9 points, while Alysa Billeter (Damascus, Md. / Damascus) and Rachel Marlow (Thurmont, Md. / Catoctin) both have two goals, one assist, and five points.

Sophomore Jessica Sedgwick (Fairfield, Conn. / Cushing Academy) leads the Blazers in goal, posting 79 saves, a 2.14 goals against average and .775 save percentage.

LAST TIME OUT

Hood lost 4-1 at Albright on October 18th. Tayler Piper (Manheim, Pa. / Manheim Central) had the only goal of the game while Jessica Sedgwick (Fairfield, Conn. / Cushing Academy) had 3 saves and Alexa Rubano (Wallingford, Conn. / Lyman Hall) had 6 saves.

SCOUTING MESSIAH

The Falcons are 8-6 overall and 2-2 in the Commonwealth Conference after losing 1-0 to Arcadia.

Carissa Gehman leads Messiah with 17 goals, 1 assist, and 35 points on the season, while Carly Day has 64 saves, a 2.05 goals against average and .688 save percentage.

LAST MEETING

Messiah won 14-0 on October 31, 2013. Moriah Pfautz had four goals, Brooke Sands and Gina Kellett each had two goals, and Angela Klaczak had six saves. Hood's Ying Van Schaik (Easton, Md. / Gunston Day School) had 27 saves.
