Alexa Rubano (Wallingford, Conn. / Lyman Hall) made a career-high eight saves in just her second career start.
Before the game, the Blazers honored senior Rachel Marlow (Thurmont, Md. / Catoctin) for her contributions to the program.
The Knights pulled ahead early in the first half scoring three goals in the starting 12 minutes. Arcadia's Debbie Wolfe began the scoring with a goal off a rebound in the sixth minute. Wolfe struck again three minutes later off another rebound.
Molly Goldstein scored for the Knights in the 12th minute, for an early 3-0 lead.
In the 22nd minute, Briscoe scored her 11th goal for the Blazers this season after a through ball from Shelby Amspacher (Havertown Pa. / Archbishop Carroll) led to a breakaway. Her season total marks the second best in a season at Hood, while her 24 points are tied for second. Briscoe also moved into ninth place with 34 career points.
Arcadia's Tess Brzezynski notched another goal in the 32nd minute after a pass to center from Lindsay Tobey to make it 4-1 at the half.
The Knights streak continued in the second half when Rachel Longenecker scored in the first two minutes after Tess Brzezynski passed her the ball from the top of the arch.
Hood's defense picked up and kept Arcadia away from goal until Morgan Paese found a loose ball in the 64th minute and chipped it in high to seal the win for Arcadia, 6-1.
Brittany Hodson made two saves for the Knights.
Hood looks for a win against Morrisville St. on October 26 in a non-conference game.
