OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Hood College women's soccer team dropped a Commonwealth Conference match at Stevenson, 4-0.

The Blazers trailed just 1-0 at the half, but after the Mustangs scored in the 66th minute, they put the match out of reach with a pair of late goals.

Alexis Andrukat (Smithsburg, Md. / Smithsburg) made two saves. 

In the 13th minute, Kellen Whitman scored what proved to be the game-winner. The score stood 1-0 until the second half when Lauren Spivey doubled the lead.

Hood had a chance to cut the lead in half just over two minutes later on a corner kick by Samantha Norris (Frederick, Md. / Governor Thomas Johnson), but were unable to convert the set piece.

Long range goals in the 81st and 82nd minutes by Molly Malloy and Alli Ondrejcak, respectively, put the contest out of reach.

Hood travels to Arcadia on October 11.
