ARLINGTON, Va. - Hood College dropped a non-conference match at Marymount (Va.) in straight sets, 3-0.

Scores were 25-9, 25-9 and 25-14.

Addie Roop (New Windsor, Md. / Francis Scott Key), Elizabeth Hawkesworth (Westminster, Md. / Winters Mill) and Ashley Park-Brouse (Myersville, Md. / Middletown) had two kills apiece for the Blazers. Kathryn Jones (Newfane, N.Y. / Newfane) had five assists and a service ace. Keesha Fields (Willow Hill, Pa. / Fannett-Metal) added eight digs.

Becca Schroeder and Emmileigh Rettig had six kills to lead the Saints. Morgan McAlpin had three blocks.

Hood hosts Catholic and Gwynedd Mercy in a tri-match on September 20.
