READING, Pa. - The Hood College field hockey team fell at Alvernia in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action, 7-0.

Hailey Poisal (Westminster, Md. / Westminster) made 16 saves in the contest. 

Margaret Wentzel had four goals and an assist in the contest for Alvernia. Jane Burkett and Malorie McCoy each had a goal and an assist. 

The Blazers host Stevenson on October 22 at 4:30 p.m.
