Box Score GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Hood College women's field hockey team fell to Arcadia in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action, 8-1.
Hailey Poisal (Westminster, Md./ Westminster) started in goal for the Blazers and recorded 12 saves. With 195 saves, she is fifth all-time on Hood's single season list.
Hood's lone goal on the day came in the 49th minute when Ashley Griffin (Littlestown, Pa./ Delone Catholic) took a pass from Alysa Billeter (Damascus, Md./ Damascus) and deposited it into the goal.
Jayden Barrick (Newport, Pa./ Newport) added a defensive save. it brought her season total to 14, the third-highest in a season at Hood.
The Knights were led by Lindsay Bechtold and Lindsay Tobey, who each scored two goals on the afternoon.
Arcadia also had goals from Rachel Longenecker, Isabel Farfan, Molly Fait, and Nicole Hassett.
The Blazers head to MAC Commonwealth opponent Messiah on Tuesday, October 27. The game is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
