FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College field hockey team fell 7-0 to visiting Frostburg State.

Goalkeeper Hailey Poisal (Westminster, Md. / Westminster) had 16 saves for the Blazers. Ashley Griffin (Littlestown, Pa. / Delone Catholic) made a defensive save in the first half. Jayden Barrick (Newport, Pa. / Newport) got in on the action in the second half with two defensive saves. 

Alexandra Darrow had three goals and an assist for the Bobcats. Taylor Bowen added a goal and two assists. Jackie Gover played the first half in goal for Frostburg State. Nicole Leighty saw action in the second half and made one save. 

Hood hosts Neumann on September 23 at 4:30 p.m.
