PREVIEW:
The squad offensively has shared who the hero has been to score,
Kate Haufe (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) leads the team with nine goals and connected in the Blazers most recent match against Alvernia and in the Messiah rout.
Bianca Scally (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Thousand Oaks) added her goals during conference play and
Sydney Fleming (Fredericksburg, Va./Courtland) sits Top 5 in the conference in assists.
Madeline Moreno (Mansfield, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) has continued her nationwide dominance in the defensive save category with
Abby Chiavetta's (San Jose, Calif./Leland) scrappy defensive play alongside and not far behind.
Grace Guy (Mechanicsville, Md./Chopticon) leads the MAC in save percentage while her six wins tie a program season record.
Stevenson has a threat in net, Jordan Vradenburgh has only allowed 10 goals this season and leads the goals assessed average by a landslide. The offensive has scored a conference lead 61 goals on the year and have drawn the second-most penalties.
The October 29 between the two started with the Blazers surprising the No. 17 Mustangs with a goal in the second quarter by Fleming. Grace Catalano would score in the third and in OT to shift the space time continuum back on track with the Blazers holding off 20-plus shots before that.
