Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College freshman Erin Scarborough finished the Blazers' late comeback with a goal in the 99th minute to pick up a 2-1 overtime win over Goucher.
Hood trailed 1-0 until the 83rd minute, when Brittney George headed in a corner from Alyssa Nubgaard to tie the game.

How it Happened
- The Gophers took a 1-0 lead just before halftime. Camryn MacKey played the ball ahead to Samantha Turner for her 13th goal of the season in the 41st minute.
- The goal held until there were less than eight minutes left in regulation. The Blazers were awarded a corner and Nubgaard sent it to the far post, where a leaping George headed it into the net to tie the match.
- During the first overtime, the Gophers had a chance to for the game-winner, but Knoebel stopped a breakaway before Goucher could get a shot off.
- At the other end, Hood got the ball towards the Gophers' box, but Goucher gained possession. The back line misplayed the ball near the top of the box, allowing Scarborough to gain control. The freshman knocked the decisive goal off of a scrambling goalkeeper and into the net.
Notes
- Hood improved to 3-10-1 overall.
- Goucher sank to 6-7-1.
- Victoria Svec stopped eight shots for the Gophers.
