Women's Soccer Stopped by No. 7 Arcadia

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Hood College women's soccer fell 6-0 at No. 7 Arcadia in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

Inside the Box Score

  • Rachel Knoebel made 10 saves over the first 62 minutes in goal. 
  • Zoe Lewis played 28 minutes in relief and stopped two shots.

Match Recap

  • Kayla Haberbosch, who had an assist in the first half, scored a natural hat trick to open the second half as Arcadia built a 5-0 lead in the 61st minute. 
  • Hood had the match's first shot, in the first minute, but an attempt by Emily Onheiser sailed wide of the goal. 
  • Lennon Kramer nearly scored in the fifth minute, but Elien Comhaire cleared the ball off the line to preserve the scoreless tie. Kramer would score in the 16th minute give the Knights the lead. Veronica Garcia added a 35th minute goal to put Arcadia on top 2-0 at halftime.
  • The Blazers had their best chance when Alyssa Nubgaard got free in the second half, but the shot was turned away by Evelyn Feigeles in the 55th minute. 
  • Garcia capped the scoring with her second tally of the afternoon in the 80th minute. 

Notes

  • Hood ended the day 2-8-1 overall and 0-3 in the MAC Commonwealth
  • Arcadia remained perfect on the year at 13-0 and 3-0 in the league.
