TOWSON, Md. - The Hood College volleyball team dropped both ends of a tri-match by matching 3-1 finals against Marywood and Goucher. 

Set Scores

• Marywood won 25-23, 18-25, 26-24, 25-15.
• Goucher won 25-18, 25-19, 25-27, 25-12.

Inside the Box Scores

• Elena Zinaich had 12 kills in each match for 24 total kills. The sophore also had four total aces and four blocks.
• Payton Belella dished out 52 total assists and led the Blazers with 20 total digs. 
• Courtney Hutchinson had a strong hitting day with 20 kills and a percentage of .319. 

Against the Pacers

• Kari Betson matched Zinaich with a team-high 12 kills. Zinaich also had three aces and four blocks. 
• Belella had a double-double with 35 assists and 12 digs.
• Kelsey Ritner had 17 digs, while Hutchinson had nine kills.

Against the Gophers

• Zinaich had 12 kills and hit .440 in the match. She added 10 digs for a double-double. 
• Hutchinson had 11 kills and Allison Barrick added two blocks. 
• Belella turned in 27 assists and eight digs. Delmi Dominguez also had eight digs. 

Notes

• Hood dropped to 7-15 on the season. 
• Marywood is 9-15, while Goucher is 3-13.
• The Pacers beat the Gophers 3-2 in the third match of the tri-match.
