WILLIAMSPORTS, Pa. - Hood College's Brianna Hand-Solomon won twice, but it was not enough as the Blazers fell to both Lycoming and Misericordia in a Middle Atlantic Conference tri-meet.

- Hood fell to Lycoming 157-95 and Misericordia 138-91.
How it Happened
- Hand-Solomon won both of the backstroke events. Her first win of the day came in the 100-yard back in 1:03.83. She added a victory in the 200 back with a time of 2:20.80. Hand-Solomon took third in the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:09.63.
- Ashley Griffin had two second place finishes and added a third place. Her 200 freestyle time of 2:10.82 was second, as was her time of 59.64 in the 100 free. Griffin was third in the 50 free in 27:09.
- Sydney Langer was second in both of the distance freestyle events. She lost by just three seconds in the 1,000 in 12:23.83. In the 500, she swam a 6:05.30 for second.
- The third Blazer to produce a pair of second place finishes was Kate Sanborn. The freshman finished the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.67 and the 200 breast in 2:45.36.
- Anne Lessard was third in the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:37.33. In the 200 back, she turned in a time of 2:27.13, also third.
- The 200 medley relay team of Hand-Solomon, Sanborn, Lessard and Griffin was second in 2:02.93.

- Hood dropped to 1-8 overall and 1-6 in the MAC.
- Lycoming is 1-4, including 1-3 against conference opponents.
- Misericordia is 4-4 overall and 3-2 against the MAC.
