Box Score 2 WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Hood College women's volleyball team dropped both ends of a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth tri-match to Lycoming and Stevenson by identical 3-0 scores.

Lycoming Recap
- Hood jumped out to a 6-3 lead in the opening set, but Lycoming rattled off eight straight points to take control of the set.
- In the second set, the Blazers again held an early lead, 5-4, but the Warriors used an 8-2 run to swing the momentum and hit over .400 in the set.
- Hood faced match point in the third set, 24-22, but a kill by Betson and an attack error by Lycoming tied the score. The Blazers were able to tie the score once more at 25-25, but the Warriors closed it out with a kill by Cheyenne Altland and an ace by Emily Morris.
Lycoming Notes
- Zinaich had nine kills and just two errors on 18 attacks; Belella dished out 21 assists.
- Hutchinson and Betson had four blocks apiece.
- Lycoming improved to 9-7 overall and 2-1 in the MAC Commonwealth
- Kristine Jahn had 13 kills, Morris netted 32 assists and Emily Hepner tallied 17 digs.
Stevenson Recap
- Stevenson used an error-free attacking day, hitting .376 in the match, to take the win.
- The Mustangs claimed the first two sets and Hood faced match point in the third. But just as in the Lycoming match, the Blazers rallied to hold off Stevenson for several points. After a Betson kill made it a three-point match, Gabriela Enriquez served up an ace to make it 24-22. The Mustangs won the next point to seal the win.
Stevenson Notes
- Betson led Hood with seven kills.
- Belella added 16 assists, two aces and eight digs, while Kinna also had eight digs.
- Annika Schwartz led the Mustangs with 10 kills.
- Sara Bollinger had 15 assists and six aces.
- Hood dropped to 6-9 overall and 1-4 in the MAC Commonwealth
- Stevenson improved to 10-7 and 2-0.
