WINCHESTER, Va. - The Hood College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 final at Shenandoah in non-conference action.

Rachel Knoebel made five saves in goal for the Blazers.

Hood trailed just 1-0 at the half, but the Hornets kept the pressure on once play resumed and pulled away. 

Jessica Stuart scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 35th minute. She later assisted on an Alison Spaziani tally. Emily Yergin and Sara Fuller scored the other two Shenandoah goals, while Jennifer Nguyen assisted on Fuller's marker. 

Hood, 1-2 on the season, travels to Mount Aloysius on September 9.
