Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Va. - The Hood College women's basketball team led by five at halftime, but Stevenson came on strong in the third quarter and went on to win 73-49 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

- The Blazers trailed 16-14 before McGaughey hit a 3-pointer with 46 seconds left in the first quarter for the lead.
- After Hood went ahead 19-16 at the end of the first, the Mustangs battled back to take a 24-23 lead. The Blazers responded with eight straight points and led 32-24 after Mia Savoy's first collegiate points with 2:45 remaining in the half.
- Hood led 36-31 at halftime before Sara Tarbert scored the opening seven points of a 13-4 run to begin the third quarter.
- Stevenson led 54-45 at the end of the third quarter and continued to pull away in the fourth.
Notes
- Tarbert had a monster game for the Mustangs with 33 points and 16 rebounds. Kaitlyn Vantash added 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
- Hood won the turnover battle, committing just 12 in the game. Stevenson turned the ball over 13 times.
