FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College field hockey team dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match against the No. 1 Messiah Falcons 9-0.

• Messiah opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a goal by Carissa Gehman, assisted by Kezia Loht.
