Box Score GRANTHAM, Pa. - Hood College's Jordan Patterson had four hits, four RBIs and earned the save on the mound to lead the Blazers to a 7-4 win at Messiah in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth baseball action.

- Patterson had his second four-hit game in a week and picked up his third save of the year.
- The save locked down Travis Schweizer's school-record sixth win of the season as the junior improved to 6-1. He allowed three runs in seven innings on nine hits. He struck out six and did not walk a batter.
- Dylan Johnson drove in two and Drake Friend walked twice.
How it Happened
- After Messiah took a 2-0 lead in the first, Hood scored three times in the third. Patterson drove in a pair with a bases-loaded single to tie the game and a sacrifice fly from Johnson put the Blazers in front.
- In the sixth, Patterson knocked in two more with a single to make it 5-2. Later in the inning, he and Cam Esposito executed a double-steal with Esposito claiming home for a four-run lead.
- Patterson scored the seventh run on another sacrifice fly by Johnson for a 7-3 lead in the top of the ninth.
- Josh Hayner's RBI double in the bottom of the ninth with one out made it 7-4 and Hood turned to Patterson to close the game. He struck out a batter and forced a ground out to end the game.
Notes
- Hayner was one of four Falcons with four hits in the game.
- Jordan Nichols took the loss, allowing six runs in 5.1 innings. He allowed six hits, walked three and struck out six.
