GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Hood College baseball team fell behind early and lost at Arcadia 14-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play. 

Inside the Box Score

• Dylan Johnson went 2 for 3 at the plate.
• Brooks Warrenfeltz doubled and walked. 
• Jake Franke started and took the loss. He allowed five earned runs in three innings. 
• Riley Fitzgerald and Jackson Slotterback each pitched 0.2 scoreless innings of relief to close the game. 

How it Happened 

• Arcadia loaded the bases in the bottom of the first and Nick Cardace ripped a bases-clearing double to put Hood behind 3-0. Two more runs scored in the inning to make it a five-run deficit. 
• Trailing 6-0 in the fourth, Warrenfeltz doubled with two outs and scored on a single by Johnson. 
• Back-to-back home runs by Cardace and Jordan Draude in the bottom of the inning ended any hopes of a comeback. 

Notes

• Cardace was 4 for 4 in the game, while Justin Chasmar had three hits. 
• Joseph Warren went six innings for the win, allowing one run and striking out seven.
