GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Hood College volleyball team dropped matches to Penn St. Altoona and Muhlenberg at the Battlefield Classic at Gettysburg College. 

The Blazers fell 3-2 to the Nittany Lions and 3-0 to the Mules. 

Against Altoona, Payton Belella led the team with 16 digs and 47 assists. Kari Betson led the offensive with 20 kills and added 13 digs. 

In the match against Muhlenberg, Belella also led the team with 18 assists. Betson had eight kills and 17 digs in the match, and Renee Reus added 13 digs.

Set scores against Penn State Altoona were 25-27, 25-20, 17-25, 25-21, 16-14. Set scores against Muhlenberg were 25-16, 26-15, 25-19.
