LANCASTER, Pa. - The Hood College women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season 1-0 at Franklin & Marshall.

How it Happened

• In the first half, the two teams combined for just three shots on goal, but neither side scored. 
• Less than a minute after the start of the second half, Reanna Leoni beat a defender and the keeper for what proved to be the only goal of the afternoon. 
• Erin Scarborough had a chance to tie the game just 23 seconds later, in the 47th minute, but was turned away by Gabby Panayotakis. The Blazers kept the pressure on with a shot by Alyssa Nubgaard in the 50th minute, but Panayotakis was again up to the task.

• Hood's record stands at 3-1-1. 
• The Diplomats improved to 2-2.
