GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Hood College volleyball team came up short in matches with McDaniel and Penn State Harrisburg on the final day of the Battlefield Classic at Gettysburg College.

The Blazers lost both matches in three sets. 

Against Harrisburg, Payton Belella had 31 assists and five digs. Elena Zinaich added 12 kills, and Renee Reus led the team with 15 digs.

In the match against McDaniel, Zinaich led the team with nine kills. Belella added 19 assists and ten digs. Kari Betson added 11 digs and six kills while Carmella Fouts also had ten digs in the match.

Scores against the Green Terror were 25-21, 25-19, 25-9. Scores against the Nittany Lions were 25-23, 25-19, 25-20.
