FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's volleyball team won the first set, but Arcadia rebounded to take the next three in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opener for both teams. 

Set scores were 22-25, 25-12, 25-21, 25-9. 

Inside the Box Score

• Elena Zinaich led the Blazers with 10 kills.
• Payton Belella added 25 assists and 10 digs.
• Kari Betson led the team with 16 digs and Renee Reus added 14.  

How it Happened

• With the score tied at 21-21 in the first set, Hood went on a 4-1 run to close it out to take a 1-0 lead. 
• Arcadia's hitting regrouped in the final three sets, which all went in favor of the Knights. 

Notes

• Lauren Enfield and Maddie Sehrt had 10 kills apiece. 
• Julia Paliwodzinski had 32 assists and served four aces. 
• Emily Eng notched 16 digs.
