FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's volleyball team dropped 3-0 final to visiting Lebanon Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

• Lebanon Valley won 25-20, 25-18, 25-11.

• Elena Zinaich led the Blazers with 10 kills.  
• Payton Belella finished with a double-double with 27 assists and 10 digs. 
• Renee Reus ended the evening 11 digs. 
• Courtney Hutchinson and Tailyn Kite reach recorded two blocks. Kite added two aces. 

How it Happened

• Hood pulled within 21-19 in the first set on a kill by Zinaich before Lebanon Valley regrouped for a 25-20 win. 
• A 6-1 run by the Blazers in set two made it 20-18 after a kill by Angel Scheetz. Jayna Class had a pair of kills for LVC in a 5-0 run to close the set. 
• The Dutchmen opened the third set with a 14-3 run and never looked back. 

Notes

• Jess Attieh had 11 kills and hit .579 in the match with zero errors. She added four aces. 
• Jensen Burnheimer dished out 27 assists. 
• Class served four aces.
