FREDERICK, Md.- Hood College fell to Lycoming and Misericordia in a Middle Atlantic Conference tri-meet hosted by Hood.

How it Happened

• Brianna Hand-Solomon notched Hood's only win of the day with a time of 1:02.16 in the 100-yard backstroke. She added a second place finish with a time of 25.87 in the 50 yard freestyle.
• Danielle Pong picked up two second place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard breaststroke. She finished with times of 1:09.12 and 2:33.10 respectively. She also placed third in the 100-yard butterfly finishing in 1:06.02.
• Olivia McGhee finished second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:41.31.
• Mandy Smith and Kate Sanborn added third place finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley. Smith had a time of 12:15.15 and Sanborn had a time of 2:29.20.
• Ann Coleman finished with a time of 2:20.20 good enough for third in the 200-yard backstroke.
• The team of Hand-Solomon, Sanborn, Pong, and Coleman swam a time of 4:17.45 to place third in 400-yard medley relay.
