GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College women's soccer team dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match at No. 4 Messiah 9-0.

• Three goalkeepers split time for the Blazers. Lydia Erickson made five saves in the first half. ReidAnn Sever stopped three shots in 32 minutes, while Rachel Knoebel played the final 13 minutes in net. 

How it Happened

• The Falcons led 3-0 before scoring three times in the 24th and 25th minutes to pull away to build a 6-0 lead at halftime. 
• Messiah scored three times in the second half.

• Jessie Fisher scored three times for Messiah, while Brooke Firestone and Julia Kyne added two goals apiece.
