GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College men's swim team received a victory from Hazen Stowell but it was not enough as the Blazers were swept in a tri-meet at Messiah with Widener.

• Messiah defeated Hood 185-82. 
• Widener defeated Hood 217-55. 

Top Finishers

• The Blazers turned in strong performances in the distance freestyle events.
• Stowell won the 500-yard freestyle by nearly three seconds with a time of 5:13.85. 
• Cody Jacobson took second in the 1,000 free with a time of 10:52.88.
