CHESTER, Pa. - The Hood College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 final at Widener in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

• Carrington Ray had six kills. 
• Ashley Williams notched 15 assists. 
• Emma Elizondo finished with 15 digs. 
• Walissa Jaque had five kills against just one error and recorded a pair of blocks. 

How it Happened

• Widener caught fire midway through the first set, turning a 13-11 deficit into a 25-13 win. The momentum continued into the second set where the Pride did not commit an attack error and won 25-11. 
• Hood battled back in the third set and trailed just 15-14 before Widener went on a 5-1 run to pull away. 

Notes

• Claire Kaufmann netted eight kills and six blocks.
• Shelby Motz served up six aces, while Sydney Nichols had four aces to go with 11 assists.
